We all are going through a very tough phase in life. When we look around, we can see a world of uncertainty and, all people are gripped with fear and worry. Every day we hear disturbing news like the pandemic, war, catastrophe and, the list goes on. We automatically get worried and afraid of the unknown.
Fear is a natural emotion of a human being, but it is not created by God.
Because of the fall of man, fear entered this world. It’s negative and curtails the creativity of the human mind. God wants man to be constructive and live with the image of God. But because of the sin of mankind, the devil can create fear in our minds.
We mostly get lost thinking about our future, studies, job, and the list goes on. At times we even forget the good things God has done in our lives, how he lifted us from the misery.
In Isaiah 41:10 it says, “Fear not for I am with you, do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand”.
With these words written in the scripture, yet here we are worried about our future. The phrase ‘Do not be afraid’ is written 365 times in the Bible. This is a daily reminder from God to live every day being fearless.
God gives us a positive mind through faith. With it, we can overcome all the obstacles in life. When problems arise cling unto God’s promises and his Word, so we can live in freedom. Fear blocks our communication with God; hence we become rudderless in life. God wants us to be courageous so he can communicate and reveal his plans to us.
The main quality of a Christian should be of being fearless of the worldly dilemmas.
It is one of the best ways to show the world that you are a believer. Our foundation should be on the rock of our salvation.
When we become fearless, we automatically reflect the character of Christ in us.
With a courageous and faithful life, we can spread the love of God and make the world a better place to live in.
